Yesterday I began to decorate my shoes to use as my prop for my first VBS lesson. They’re just some plain, khaki canvas Converse tennis shoes, but I’ve decorated them similar to the background of my blog. In Spanish I wrote “No corras de Dios” on the side, symbolizing not to run from God as Jonah did. I spent about 40 minutes just decorating one shoe!! But in the end it will all be worth it!
